Zoomable altitude/azimuth (topocentric) plot

Zoom/info mode

The zoom/info mode button ( / ) controls whether your pointer is in zoom mode, or info mode. In zoom mode , clicking on the plot recentres it, or zooms it (see navigating/zooming, below). In info mode , it requests additional information on selected objects

Recentring the view

With the zoom/info button in the zoom position , click on the view to recentre it. The view will centre on the point you clicked.

Zooming out

With the zoom/info button in the zoom position , control-click on the view to recentre the view and zoom out.

Zooming in

With the zoom/info button in the zoom position , shift-click to recentre the view and zoom in.

Requesting addtional information on objects

With the zoom/info button in the info position , click on any object to request additional information. If multiple objects are found, multiple targets will appear in the search results window. Select an object from the search results window to request additional information.

Re-plotting/repositioning

To set a new time/position, enter the new values in the date/time/longitude/latitude boxes, and click on the plot/draw button to draw a new plot.

Click on the synch button to reset the time/date to the current time/date on your system.
